KIIR IS CAUGHT CHEATING, THE MINISTERIAL SELECTIONS PROCESSES CAME TO A HALT!
JANUARY 7th 2016. Juba, RoSS.Just in at our desk, the Ministerial selections process came to a stand still as dispute and political wrangling erupts. Per the report reaching our desk from persons deeply involved in the JMEC process, the treacherous Juba Government decided yet again to not follow the road map to peace and cessation of bloodsheds as stipulated by the Compromise peace deal. Juba threw a curveball at the SPLA-IO, FD and the other parties, in essence at IGAD-Plus and the world, more importantly he pulled a disheartening fast tricks at the Suffering and at risk people of South sudan, who amounts to little for those groups of tribal elites in Juba.
According to the agreement signed by all parties in Addis Ababa and Juba last year, in the lottery style distributions of the ministries, the Juba government is to select the first choice from one of the ministerial clusters and then followed by SPLM in opposition, FD and other parties, and no one party can for the second round select from the same cluster it selected the first ministry from. For example, if the Kiir's government selects the Ministry of defense, in these clusters is also, ministry of interior, Security etc. so he cannot choose interior also, unless the others do not want it. Thus if Kiir Choose defense then SPLA-IO will likely choose ministry of interior.
Further examples, if Juba select, Ministry of Finance, SPLM-IO is likely to choose Ministry of petroleum etc. This goes in rounds and turns untill all the minitries are divided this way.This is design for check and balances.
But now as usual the mischievous Kiir and his tribal gangs, refused to follow the preset format of selections. Juba insist that they will select at once and all of their 16 ministries first in the very first round then give the left overs for the SPLM-IO, FD and other parties. Here then Kiir is intending to collect all the heavy weight ministries and leave no powers to the Oppositions again infringing and violating on the peace process- AGAIN.
It should be recalled, a very unusual and mysterious "Civil" strike took place at the Airport today, to the point flights were cancelled, first ever such strike of its kind directed to the airport and no police interventions? Who is Kiir fooling? This was design to block the JMEC Chairperson from arriving Juba as he was scheduled to from Nairobi, Kenya. Now we know why this was the case as they intending to pull a fast trick on the oppositions in the ministries selections.
Kiir and his gangs intended to use the chairperson absence to bully and twists the hands of the Oppositions in order to select all the heavy weight ministries which pains them to give away as Kiir has been used to absolute powers the last last 10 years.
In the positive side of things for Kiir, If this peace agreement were to hold and go through despite of all the tricks he has in store, Kiir is likely to loose weight and go totally bald like his mentor Museveni, for the only Bull in the Kraal is now restless and flustered by the presence of other Bulls and unwilling to yield the unoppossed and absolute powers he has come to enjoy.
Unable to pass the roadblock placed by Juba, the matter is now on the table of the JMEC Chairperson, the former Botswana President, Festus Mogae, by extensions IGAD-Plus while the helpless South Sudanese people who are banking on Kiir to stop the bullying and act as the big man he was during the war of liberations not the current blood drenched greedy Kiir and follow the blueprint he himself signed and end the bloodshed and return peace to our desperate and improverished nation.

The selection process for the ministerial portfolios will remain based on the terms as set in the text of the ARCISS: the methodology for selection is NOT OPEN FOR NEGOTIATION. The text of the ARCISS is firmer than those of the bible or the quran. We have seen leaders toying with the bible and the quran but none should temper with the text of the ARCISS!!!

We recall the Balandas demonstrating in Wau, numerous ended shot to Kill by Kiirs security agents, We remember in Moliandu the Madi Corridor the Citizens protested, two ended up fatally shot dead and this goes non and on. But now we see People spontaneously in large numbers coming up to protest towards the airport??? Really? I agree with the assessments in this article. Kir is fooling himself rather than us because his tricks comes through.
These gangs do not want peace because some of them are afraid of a peace that brings accountabilities. It is their guilty consciouses that do not let them to accept peace because they know how many they have killed. This also could be the blood of the people they have killed that is making them act irrational, simply because their days are numbered.
