He further noted, "Peace is not just the absence of war. It's more than silencing the guns; it's addressing root causes and factors that lead to conflict".

Governor Nathaniel blamed Juba regime for refusing accept to discuss the root causes of the conflict despite tirelessly efforts exerted by faith-based group for all the political parties to freely discuss the root causes of the conflict.

"It's lifting society out of situations that make it susceptible to conflicts and violence; it's laying down preconditions and foundation that lead to general socio political and economic transformation and improvements in quality of life of a nation" he added.

He called IGAD's approach as rewards to the perpetrators of the conflict which is Juba regime. "IGAD proposals of bridging the gaps between parties fell short of the above. It was about accommodations, rewards to perpetrators and preservation of status quo" he said.

"("premium of incumbency") in their own words! We therefore rejected such approach to resolve the conflict in South Sudan". Governor Nathaniel called for durable solution to the situation of South Sudan and he asked the suffering South Sudanese to keep the hope.

He said peace [they] in opposition are negotiating is a peace that will prosper all South Sudanese, not just few people, peace that will gives equal opportunity to all citizen s that they can realize their potentials in education and businesses  and take charge to develop themselves.

" We need a durable solution to this conflict so that South Sudan will be at peace with itself, we can realize prosperity for our people; not just few people; a peace that gives equal opportunity to individual citizens to develop themselves and realize their potentials in; business, jobs, education, and public life etc. A peace that reconcile and heal the wounds in the hearts of communities. A peace that upholds justice and accountability for wrong done to individuals or group. A peace that compensates the losses incurred by victims and not perpetrators.
