THE EQUATORIAN SOLUTION; MOVEMENT TO FIGHT OCCUPATION

June, 19-2016

People who know God and understand His teaching will always respect others and their lives, obey social norms. People who understand the laws of a country and respect them will value their people too. Unfortunately Kiir, Jinge Council of Edlers and most Jieng are not included in this category. How do Dinkas claim that the South Sudan belongs to them when they weren’t the first to settle in South Sudan? If they don’t know history, they should be reminded that they [the Dinkas] and the Nilotic tribes came to the South between 1400 and 1700 when there were other tribes already there or arrives at the same time.

My fellow dear Equatorians, it is time we stop complains and start actions of our own. Since we respect lives, the following will be our code of action. It will be both short and long term of action

1- Any cattle found in our villages and towns that belong to the invaders should be removed. If the owners can’t take them away, then we use any method to get rid of them. We would no longer allow them to interfere with our livelihood. The crops that we grow are to sustain our lives.

2- Anyone who is not indigenous in the village is in a wrong place. They should find their way out. However, those in the towns with proper papers and law abiding should not be disturbed.

3 -Anyone who doesn’t respect our social norms will not be allowed to contaminate us.

It doesn’t matter how long it takes to fight occupation, this movement is to teach our children what the future holds for them. To have peace with one another isn’t oppression or superiority. We have allowed things to go from bad to worse, now this is the time to fix it. It is only us who can do it.

The world especially the NGOs who rushed to South Sudan immediately after the Comprehensive Peace Agreement [CPA] was signed watched and assisted the degeneration of the situation in the country until December 15, 2013 event was born. Once again Enough Project is playing with our brains pretending that they are helping the Southerners. What did they do when currencies of most of the world were sold in the streets of Juba in the open? Was this not corruption? Since they have all the mechanism to control, they knew the sources of this money but chose to protect the powerful men because they get commission, they remained quiet. Were they not the ones who pledged the 4.1 billion US Dollars in Oslo Donors’ conference for the rehabilitation program of South Sudan when CPA was signed in 2005? I wonder how much of that money was released and used effectively. I guess none of the NGOs working in the South Sudan from 2005 may pretend not to have witnessed what took place. Have they make any attempt to stop it?

My fellow countrymen/women [Southerners] don’t be misled, Some of you sat in the class with some of those playing fuss of us, were they better than you? Why do you allow yourselves to be fooled by them indefinitely? Most parts of the world were successful because of blacks yet we the black can’t make Africa successful.  Why do millions of our people risk dying in the sea every day just to get to Europe? Because Africa knows no peace despite that Africa has plenty for everyone. Let me tell you, the main difference we have with the western world is that peace is in abundance while we are always on our heels. For how long will we continue to allow our leaders change the constitution, electoral laws just because they want to continue ruling at our expense? They don’t care whether we are suffering or not.

If the west has passed through what we have now yet we can’t learn to set a system for all why did we go to school? Is it difficult or impossible to get out the leaders corrupting our societies? Do we really have heroes among us in Africa? Remember, heroes are not people who fight for themselves, tribes family or friends but die for their people, are you one? We should all consider ourselves brain dead.

Considering how our people suffered since 1955, I see no reason why the Hybrid Court shouldn’t be implemented. If both Kiir and Machar enjoyed killing of their own people, it is their turn to face the music. Why should they get frightened now when they carefully read the document before they signed? If they thought the law wouldn’t follow them and now want to impede trial, it would be good for justice if both left the government. It will of course be disappointing if the world listen to them at the expense of the South Sudanese people. No one should be an island for the wrong doing. Even if Kiir, Machar and all those involved in our people’s suffering were to die today, they should stand trial.
