Juba, 10 Sept 2018; Shortly after arriving in Juba, on Friday the most second powerful man in SPLA-IO, Deputy chairman of opposition movement SPLA-IO, Henry Dilah Odwar met with former two political detainees, former Machar's spokesperson James Gatdet Dak and former rebel Governor for Kapoeta state, Marko Lokidor.
The duo was released after the warring parties have signed a revitalized peace agreement. On 31 September 2018, President Kiir pardoned James Gatdet who was on death row. James Gatdet was sentenced to death by a pro-government judge early this year. James' death sentence attracted criticisms from both regional and international community.
However, after their meeting the trio did not give press conference nor comments, however, the whereabouts of the remaining two high-profile activists of SPLA-IO Samuel Dong and Aggrey Idris Ezbon remain unknown. Both Dong and Ezbon were kidnapped by Kenyan security in collaboration with NSS and deported to Juba, since then, their whereabouts remained unknown.
