17 PEOPLE CONFIRMED DEAD IN PLANE CRASH IN YIROL LAKES STATE, S. SUDAN

Juba, 9 Sept 2018; A small charted plane that left Juba international airport with final destination to Yirol, lakes state has crashed killing 17 people.  According to the local hospital report from Yirol, lakes state three people survived including a six-year-old child. 

The exact location where the small charted plane crashed is approximately 225 km from capital Juba. A further report says the plane belongs to a local aviation company. 

The aircraft according to the record from Juba international airport, where the plane left from early this Sunday morning says there were 20 people on board. The report from Yirol says 6 bodies have been recovered from the river where the plane crash. 

South Sudan has poor record of aviation in the last few years more than 5 planes crashed recorded killing prominent government officials, barely two years ago another plane came down in a residential area in capital Juba.
