KIIR TO MEET JCE TODAY

JUBA August 9th, 2018:  SSLN has confirmed that the South Sudan President, Salva Kiir Mayardiit, is meeting with his Dinka tribal advisory group today, the Jieng Council of Elders (JCE, that holds his government hostage for tribal gains,  to discuss the Khartoum peace deal he signed a few days ago.

The tribal regime of Kiir signed the peace deal with the main opposition group fighting his devastations and grip on the nation this weekend before returning to Juba.

The South Sudan Opposition Alliance (SSOA) and the SPLM Former Detainees also signed the agreement although they initially declined due to their strong oppositions to the 32 states and many others objections.

Kiir now must find a way to answer to the JCE given that he had promised them that he will never accept to work with Machar and that he will never allow him back to Juba except as a mere citizen but not as a vice president.

This group is seen as the brain behind Kiir and the dark force that destroyed south Sudan. Very often Kiir softens to peace until he meets with this group after which he emerges with a trick to dismantle whatever things he promises. We at SSLN are watching with keen interest as to what his pronunciation will be after he meets with the planners of his tribal rule.
