kuol Mayang and Martin Eli Lomoru are in UN Sanctions Fever

Juba, 28 May 2018: The United Nations Security Council diplomats are due to meet for negotiations on the text tomorrow on Tuesday thereafter a vote is scheduled for Thursday. For the draft resolution drafted and circulated by United State of America to go through, it needs nine votes in favor and no vetoes by Russia, China, France, Britain or the United States. 

The proposed measures would freeze the assets and travel ban for the six officials, including Defense and veteran affairs Minister Kuol Manyang Juuk, former army chief Paul Malong, belligerent Minister of Information Michael Lueth, and deputy chief of defense for logistics in the South Sudan Army Malek Reuben Riak Rengu and as well as the cabinet affairs Minister Dr. Martin Elia Lomuro. Michael Makuei, Reuben Riak and Paul Malong are already under both US and UN sanctions. 

While from the opposition armed group's size it targets major general Koang Rambang, governor of Bieh State, who the United States accused of leading military attacks and obstructing aid to civilians.
