29 December 2017; By look the events on ground, it seems the High-Level Revitalization Forum brought by East African bloc of Inter-Governmental Authority on Development [IGAD] has been aborted by the very government who signed the Cessation of Hostilities without reservation, this time unlike the August 2015 peace agreement where President Kiir said he has reservations. 

Since 00:01 hour on 24 December, the opposition forces through their military spokespersons have issued series of complaints of accusation against government forces in several places. 

The latest accusation against the government forces was issued this morning [Friday] Deputy military spokesperson of PLA-IO, Col Lam Paul said, "Government in Juba committed violation of the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement against SPLA -IO forces of division 8, Sector three (3) yesterday [Thursday] the 28-12-2017. The Government forces left their position in Yuai and attacked our base in Payai but they were repulsed by the SPLA IO. This aggression continued this morning of 29-12-2017 at around 7:00am as they launched another attack on our position in Paditet Payam." Read the statement partly. 

Lam further accused the regime in Juba for moving troops to different places in Equatoria to flash out the opposition forces in Equatoria. "We have received a report from a reliable source that the government in Juba had a high military command council in Juba on 27-12-2017 and came up with a resolution to clear SPLA -IO bases in Equatoria, Western Bar El Ghazal and Greater Upper Nile"  

He said according the reliable sources and military intelligence reports, "The government has already organized forces in Bor to be deployed in Ayod to attack the SPLA- IO bases, this plan is aim to imminently flash out the opposition forces" 

According to Col Lam, government forces are also being organized in Torit to start attacking SPLA -IO positions in Imatong State. 

He said the high- level military council with the leadership of SPLA-IO have alerted all the ground forces to be on maximum alert. "The SPLM/A- IO leadership is alerting all SPLA-IO forces to be vigilant of imminent attacks from government in Juba within this dry season and only act in self-defense"
