27 GOV'T SOLDIERS WERE KILLED BY REBEL IN JOKOW IN UNITY STATE ACCORDING TO THE REBEL SPOKESPERSON

 

Pagakm, 25 Nov. 2017; Military spokesperson of SPLA-IO, Brig General William Gatjiath Deng, on Thursday evening claimed their forces have killed twenty Seven (27) Juba regime's soldiers today [Saturday] 25 November morning at around 8:00am, during the ongoing clashes around Jokow bridge.

He pointed out that the massive killing of Juba regime force occurred after they [the regime forces] attempted and moved out from their trenches at Jokow Bridge and attacked the SPLA (IO) forces of Division five (5) under command of Major General Khor Chuol Giet, special Division under command of Major General James Ochan Puot and Tiger battalion under command of Brigadier General Peter Gatbel Kuach.

In retaliation and self-defend he said the braved and determinant SPLA-IO forces of division five and special forces unit of Tiger Battalion start fighting at 8:00am but stopped at 11: 30am when genocidal forces were repulsed however, by 5:00 PM local time fighting resumed. Therefore he argued all the freedom fighters in the area and supporters should stay alert for the latest updates.

It is not the first time that traumatized forces of General Salva Mayardit that experienced serious confinement at Jokow bridge for (4) months to match out in search of foods.” he said.

Brig Gen William accused Juba forces for inflicting terror on civilian living in the area in the last two weeks, “they matched out and exercised the terror act by killing the seventy two (72) years old man called Gatwech Yiech Biar at Yuaiding village on 15/11/2017 after they had seized and looted all his assets including grains, goats and chickens”
